Crisis Management - On-Site Services
In the event of an aviation disaster, FEI is prepared to support an airline and its emergency response teams with:
- On-Site Family Assistance Services
- Provide a crisis manager/liaison at the disaster site to assist in coordinating an airline’s response
- 1,000+ trained Family Assistance Representatives who are behavioral health professionals
- Immediate deployment to affected airports; designated family hotel in accident city; survivor and victim families’ communities
- Represent the airline among survivors and families
- Provide logistical and emotional support to victims and their families at the site
On-Site Operational Assistance
- Assist in establishing JFSOC
- Procure local telecommunication and information system equipment
- Arrange ground transportation and lodging
- Coordinate family escorts to/from airport, accident site and other locations
On-Site Crisis Support Services
- 400+ trained Licensed Crisis Support Counselors with specific disaster training and experience
- Provide consultation and support to the airline at airline designated key locations. Typical locations include airline headquarters, affected stations, reservation centers, maintenance facilities and the Family Support hotel
- Conduct group debriefings and offer individual counseling for employees and management staff to mitigate the effects of trauma and its effect on business recovery efforts
- Provide referral information for those employees needing mental health care following a disaster
