EAP Intake Counselor / Clinical Consultant Full time position for a highly motivated and professional person with a minimum of 3 years post masters degree experience in the Behavioral heath field. This well-organized person will be an integral part of the FEI Intake department by providing phone assessments and referral services. Provide consultations with client organization managers in regard to psychosocial issues related to job performance, workplace impact of behavioral issues, and organizational development. Provide Case Management services and be available on a rotation basis to ensure 24/7 on-call for the Corporate Clients. FEI Crisis Management Services focus on the human aspect of preparedness, response, and recovery from disaster. We provide consultation, preparedness, training, and response services. FEI provides customers with tailored crisis management programs, identifying and understanding individual organizational culture issues and resource realities and applying them in development of customized, realistic crisis management plans. FEI places high value on customer service and customer relationships before, during and after a crisis.
FEI’s Crisis Management Services has an opening in our Milwaukee, WI office for a behavioral health professional with experience in crisis response or victim assistance programs.
Position Responsibilities
· Work closely with corporate and government customers to develop, implement, and strengthen crisis management programs through a variety of activities, including: planning, training, and drills. · Establish strong working relationships with assigned customer accounts. · Review customer response plans and procedures to identify integration of FEI services and/or victim and family assistance best practice operations. · Support development/update of plans and procedures. · Provide customers with consultation on victim, employee and family assistance issues. · Provide on-going consultation on crisis management program design, implementation, and activation. · Support responder trainings using clinical knowledge of trauma and crisis response. · Coordinate design, development and delivery of crisis management exercise programs. · Respond to crisis activations as needed.
Qualifications
The following qualifications are required for this position:
· Professional experience developing, coordinating and implementing crisis management or behavioral health programs and/or providing human service/counseling services in connection with disasters. · Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and 3-5 years applicable full-time professional experience. · Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form with senior officials in business and government. · Strong analytical skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and quickly adapt to new projects. · Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work extended hours during crisis activation. **The positions require 24/7/365 on call status.**
Additional qualifications and skills desired:
· Experience providing consultation services. · Knowledge of victim, family or employee crisis preparedness and response program best practices desired. · Knowledge and understanding of Aviation Disaster Family Assistance Legislation a plus. · Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word.
