Full-time, Senior Work-Life Specialist – FEI Behavioral Health, Inc.

FEI Behavioral Health, with nearly a 30 year history, is a nationally respected, trusted partner in providing workplace solutions.  FEI was the first national network Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider in the United States and is one of the nation’s leading behavioral health providers today.  FEI provides a continuum of comprehensive services to help individuals improve their behavioral and physical health and address personal, family and life issues.  Services include employee assistance programs, work-life consultation and referral, and crisis management. 

 Job Summary: Under the direction of the a designated senior manager, the Senior Work-Life Specialist provides intake, assessment and assistance to clients, monitors the quality of services, and acts as lead staff member in Work-Life Services.

 Primary Responsibilities: Approximately 50% of the Sr. Work-Life Specialist’s time will be devoted to perform a comprehensive assessment of caller's work-life needs but a strong understanding of eldercare issues and services is crucial. Performing assessments for childcare, parenting, adoption, educational resources and career options, will be required but are secondary to eldercare assessment skills. 

 Job Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a job related major and three to five years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience. Professional eldercare experience from organizations that provide intake, assessment, information and referral. Knowledge of public and private benefits is required.
