Avian (bird) flu is a disease of wild and farm birds caused by influenza viruses. Since 1997, a number of human cases have occurred mostly with those who had direct contact with infected waterfowl or other infected poultry, or through contact with cages, water or feed that was contaminated.

Workers' Mental Health is in Employers' Best Interest

Mental health issues cost U.S. companies about $63 billion a year. While about 28 percent of that is in treatment costs, 27 percent is in costs associated with excessive absenteeism, and 28 percent is in loss of productivity.
