The Vice President of Public Policy is a senior leadership and management role at the Alliance for and UNCA. The Alliance and UNCA are nonprofit members of Families International, a holding company that unites three nonprofit organizations and one for-profit behavioral health care organization around a shared vision of a healthy society and strong communities for all children and families. Together, the Alliance and UNCA serve and engage close to 500 nonprofit child and family serving direct service organizations and community centers in North America.
The Vice President of Public Policy position requires policy analysis, advocacy, civic engagement skills and legislative experience. We are seeking a candidate with substantive knowledge of nonprofit human services sector required. Experience with behavioral health, health care, child welfare, juvenile justice and other health and human services systems, including early childhood, afterschool, workforce, and community development preferred.
