Ted Uczen
President & CEO, FEI Behavioral Health

Ted is a customer-centric executive with global marketing, communications and operations leadership experience.  He is known as a collaborative leader with a record of success by achieving bottom line results through strategic marketing, holistic relationship development and an emphasis on increasing revenue.  His reputation is that of an industry thought leader with a track record of transforming corporate culture, building brands and growing customer relationships.

Currently, as President & CEO of FEI Behavioral Health, Ted directs all strategic aspects of the business and directly oversees all sales and marketing activities of the organization. FEI is a for profit organization owned by the non-profit corporation Families International Incorporated.  As such, Ted holds a key management position on the executive leadership committee of Families International, and works directly with the other non-profit entities of Families International as well as hundreds of non-profit social agencies.  He regularly supports these non-profit groups by helping define strategic sales and marketing opportunities that help grow revenue from non traditional sources.

As Senior Vice President of Banking Solutions at Metavante (now FIS), Ted managed the CRM business and grew overall revenue by 20+% in less than two years – making it a $100 million dollar business with over 250 employees.  In addition, he started the Global Banking business unit as a joint venture with an international partner.

As Chief Customer Officer at NuEdge Systems, he re-designed and managed all aspects of the customer facing organizations.  In addition, he developed and implemented many successful loyalty, acquisition, retention and re-activation programs for some of the most successful and fastest growing companies in the country.

With almost 20 years of database marketing and strategic business consulting experience, he has held several management positions and developed a detailed and extensive experience of numerous industries.  He began his career at Kobs & Draft Worldwide (now Draftfcb), one of the largest direct marketing agencies in the world, and has worked with both consumer and business-to-business marketers impacting dozens of clients. In addition, his experience includes developing and conducting training for media companies on direct marketing, database marketing and database systems.

His speaking appearances have included the National Center for Database Marketing Conferences, the Direct Marketing Association’s Senior Executive Forum, Direct Marketing Days in New York and the Direct Marketing Association’s Professor’s Institute.

Ted is a graduate of Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin and holds degrees in Psychology and Philosophy.
