FEI is an international leader in crisis management services and regularly recruits clinicians to join our crisis responder network. Crisis responders participate in short-term contract work in response to aviation accidents and other major catastrophic incidents.

Current FEI Crisis Responders interested in refreshing their skills are welcome to attend!
Family Information Counselor (FIC):
- Supports FEI’s Emergency Inquiry Center (EIC) in Milwaukee, WI
- Provides the first critical contact to families and individuals impacted by a disaster
- Responsibilities include: basic psychological first aid, accurate documentation of the caller and their identified needs at that moment, triaging calls and providing resources as needed
Credentials/Requirements:
- Master’s level or above (graduate students are encouraged)
- Behavioral health professional or other related health field (e.g. nursing)
- State license
- Must attend FEI’s one day FIC Training
Benefits:
- $50-$75/hour (subject to change depending on scale and scope of activation)
- Eligible to earn up to 7 Continuing Education Units (CEU’s)
