FEI to Present at ACRC Conference

Business Solutions Engineer Raquelle Solon will be representing FEI at the Association of Children’s Residential Centers (ACRC) 62nd Annual Conference in Boston, Mass.

Solon will present “From Conflict to Creative Solutions” during the President’s Welcome Reception and Poster Presentation Session on Monday, March 26. She also will be exhibiting
at the conference.

FEI Addresses Conflict Management and Workplace Civility for Industrial Management

Conflict in political and social spheres also impacts the workplace, leading to strife
between coworkers. FEI’s Dan Potterton addresses how employers can reduce confrontation
by fostering a culture of workplace civility through training and example-setting in the January/February 2018 issue of Industrial Management, a publication of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers.

FEI’s Raquelle Solon is attending Business & Legal Resources’ upcoming Workplace Violence Prevention Symposium, where she will present the workshop “Creating a Culture of Respect, Inclusiveness, and Support for Employees’ Mental Health: Employee Assistance Programs, Workforce Training, and More” as well as participate in the panel discussion “Political
Protests, Evangelization, and Intolerance: When Conflicting Ideological Beliefs Can Lead to Workplace Violence.”

The symposium takes place March 6-7 in Savannah, Ga.
